To enhance the overall appearance and transform an ordinary room into a special place, wire mesh is often used in cabinetry and other similar decorative applications.
Wire mesh is an industrial product, and many of our customers have been able to use wire mesh in their unique applications. Depending upon a customer’s vision, he or she may even decide to alter the mill-finish appearance of the mesh through after-market processes. Popular techniques include oil rubbing, spray-painting, and applying lacquer. We encourage you to explore alternative informational sources for the specific details related to these after-market processes.
The intercrimp weave – corrugated wires – are used in these meshes to create strength and rigidity; it also creates an additional design feature.
Many of the wire mesh specifications Darby keeps on the floor are stocked in large rolls – rolls that typically measure 48” wide x 100FT. Darby implements a unique cutting and fabricating system to create a diamond orientation. Our standard lead time on this material is, on average, about 3 days.
The sheet sizes we offer are: 16” x 50”, 20” x 46”, 24” x 42” and 30” x 36”. These sheet sizes are the most economical from a manufacturing standpoint and represent a versatile selection of popular options. After receiving your order, it is often necessary to further trim down your material to the appropriate size using wire cutters or hand shears. Darby’s customers have had tremendous success in using a template during final installation.
These items ship flat with added packing; please allow up to one week for material to ship via standard UPS. Currently, we proudly offer FREE SHIPPING on these items. Unfortunately, we are unable to service customers located outside of the contiguous US or Canada; any orders placed from these locations will be cancelled.
If you require more than 6 sheets, please be sure to contact us for a spot quote.
Darby Wire Mesh has done its best to provide photos of what this mesh looks like, but as an industrial product, the color consistency of brass and bronze woven diamond mesh cannot be guaranteed.
